This marks the second time in a week that Connor McDavid lands himself under the NHL's proverbial microscope.
Just days ago, McDavid also had a hearing with NHL Player and Safety for elbowing Minnesota Wild forward
Marcus Johansson.
Now, analysts around the NHL seem to think that McDavid's actions will lead to a suspensions, regardless of Connor Garland's antics.
Probably unpopular. I'm ok with 97 being greasy. He should be suspended no doubt. But he's been on the receiving end often including two that led to serious injury. He's human. I get it. If I'm his teammate, I'm doing everything to pick him up when he's gone. My two cents.

It should be interesting to see what kind of disciplinary action the NHL decides to take on Connor McDavid.
