Kyle Palmieri asking price has been revealed

The Edmonton Oilers are gearing up for one of their most important trade deadlines in franchise history, and analysts around the NHL are coming out with bold predictions regarding GM Stan Bowman's targets. One name that has recently emerged in the rumour mill is New York Islanders forward Kyle Palmieri, and his asking price has now been revealed.
Well, as a pending UFA on a reasonable contract, Edmonton would surely be encouraged by New York to surrender a couple of assets. Already without a first-round selection at the upcoming 2025 NHL Draft, the Oilers would be hard-pressed to move on from their second-round choice. Therefore, the team's third-round pick would likely be on the table, and so too would one of their mid-level prospects. A return such as this would likely be welcomed by the Islanders, who could then very well re-sign Palmieri again this coming offseason as a UFA. In a seemingly never-ending search for support on their wings, adding Palmieri could prove to be a low-risk addition for the Oilers that yields a high reward.

Kyle Pamieri has always been a steady presence in the NHL. Although he's 34 years of age, he's coming off a 30 goal season, and his services during the postseason could be extremely valuable.
Oddly enough, Kyle Palmieri has a 16-team no trade list, and the Oilers are one of the teams on that list.
A few months ago, GM Stan Bowman sent shockwaves down the NHL by stating he's received unsolicited phone calls by player agents stating their clients desire to play for the Oilers.
One can only assume Palmieri would be keen to join a Stanley Cup contending team, especially is the Islanders are out of the playoff picture come deadline.
