Breaking news in the NHL as Edmonton Oilers superstar Leon Draisaitl has been named the league's first star of the week.
The Edmonton Oilers are gearing up for an epic Stanley Cup rematch against the Florida Panthers, and superstar Leon Draisaitl has been leading the charge.
The Edmonton Oilers are coming off a dominant 6-3 victory over the Las Vegas Golden Knights, winning 8 or their last 9, hoping to make it 6 consecutive W's in a row.

As per the NHL, Leon Draisaitl has been fantastic this season as he leads the NHL in goals with 22 and is tied for fourth in the NHL with 45 points. After Saturday's win over the Golden Knights, the Oilers have now won 39 consecutive home games when Leon Draisaitl collects three or more points.
Draisaitl has been goalless across his last nine games against Florida (including playoffs). He will look to change that Monday night.
