Preview: Edmonton Oilers drop projected lineup against Los Angeles Kings
The Edmonton Oilers are gearing up for a heated Pacific Division showdown against the Los Angeles Kings, and the starting lineups have just been announced.
Status report: Each team is expected to use 11 forwards and seven defensemen; Brown would replace Ryan, a forward, for the Oilers.
Status report: Edmundson, a defenseman, has been practicing with the Kings but won't play.
According to Liam McCormick of Oilers Daily, The Oilers haven't often gone 11/7 this year, especially with their deep forward talent on the wings. It's very interesting that Knoblauch chose this formation for a game against a playoff opponent like the Kings.
Kris Knoblauch has made making substantial changes to the roster as of late, and it should be interesting to see how the Oilers respond going 11/7.
With a victory tonight, the Edmonton Oilers could boost their record to 27-13-3.
Puck drop is set for 7:30 PM MT.
