Ryan Hartman is being called out for dirty slew-foot on Leon Draisaitl
The Edmonton Oilers emerged victorious over one of the titans in the Central Division last night, completing an impressive comeback against the Minnesota Wild. While the Edmonton Oilers climb up the NHL standings, last night's game presented a few controversial headlines. Now, Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman is being called out for a dirty slew-foot against superstar Leon Draisaitl.
Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman is in the hot seat for a dirty hit on Leon Draisaitl - and fans are calling for a suspension.
Here's the thing - Ryan Hartman is no stranger to this kind of controversy.
Ryan Hartman has a bad history of headshots, slew foots, late hits, and cross checks. Whatever suspension you can think of, Ryan Hartman has had it.
Ryan Hartman slew-foot's Leon Draisaitl
During last night's game, Leon Draisaitl was in a fierce puck battle along the boards with Ryan Hartman.
While Draisaitl tried to free the puck with his skates, Ryan Hartman viciously kicks his foot under him, seemingly with intent to injure.
Another game, another dangerous slew foot, this time on Leon Draisaitl from Ryan Hartman, never known to hold off the nasty.

This marks the second game in a row the Edmonton Oilers find themselves on the receiving end of a dirty slew-foot.
Just one game prior against the Los Angels Kings, forward
Adrian Kempe received a maximum $5000 fine for the same type of incident against
Connor McDavid.
Can you believe it? Two games in a row, the Oilers two best players have taken one of the most dangerous hits in hockey, but thankfully, they're both fine.
It should be interesting to see if
NHL Player and Safety review the incident. As far as i'm concerned, Ryan Hartman should receive the same punishment as Adrian Kempe.
