Team USA against Team Canada game was full of surprises, Thanks to the Tkachuk brothers
The Team Canada and Team USA game had a lot of things happening at the same game and of course it involved the Tkachuk brothers.
Right at the opening faceoff, the emotions from the fans and the player ran high and three fights broke out in the first nine seconds of the game.
This wasn't just a heat-of-the-moment explosion since Brady Tkachuk later revealed that a group chat earlier in the day set the stage for the chaos.
Matthew Tkachuk also confirmed their intent by saying they wanted to «send a message» early on in the match and it's exactly the kind of game the Tkachuks are known for.
Despite Canada's having the momentum early in the game because of an incredible
Connor McDavid goal,it was more difficult for them after two soft goals accorded by
Jordan Binnington.
Jake Guentzel tied it up the game and silenced the Bell Centre crowd before
Dylan Larkin's second-period goal stood as the game-winner.
The only downside for Team USA is the potential loss of Matthew Tkachuk, who suffered a lower-body injury and if he's out for the final, others will have to step up for Team USA.
Meanwhile, Team Canada now faces a must-win situation against Finland since they need a regulation victory to stay alive in the tournament and make it to the final.
We now have the chance to see the International stage intensity back on our screen and we couldn't be happier!
