The Canadian anthem butchered at the 4 Nations Face-Off

Team Canada in the middle of a thrilling showdown against Team USA, and the stage was set for an epic 4 Nations Face-Off final between these two hockey titans. That said, fans around the league are totally appalled after one of the worst renditions of "Oh Canada" was sang before the game.
Well folks, that was one of the most disgusting displays of Oh Canada I've ever heard.
I'm not sure if this was planned, or if the league hired someone off the street - but this was truly embarrassing.
The singer not only missed every note but also got the melody and lyrics completely wrong. Fans were eager for this matchup, but the performance was so deflating that it drained all the pre-game energy.
Honestly - what the h*ll was that?
This was right up there with one of the worst ones yet.
I'm not sure if the Canadian anthem was booed because of the political tension between our two nations, or if was because this version of Oh Canada was so bad.
Hopefully, the Canadians will be able to bounce-back from this embarrassment.
I might be going off on a bit of a tangent here, but the league should be embarrassed for not doing a better job screening anthem singers.
This was more than just a hockey game, and having a performance like that before a game of this magnitude was humiliating for all Canadians.
On a side note, the Canadians will look to come out strong after a solid first period. With the score tied 1-1, this game will determine which nation claims hockey supremacy for years to come.
