Zach Hyman shares graphic details about his broken nose
Edmonton Oilers forward Zach Hyman is showing the NHL he's a true iron man -- returning to tonight's lineup despite breaking his nose during the Florida Panthers game.
During a freak incident last game, Zach Hyman took a Bouch-Bomb to the face, resulting in a broken nose.
Zach Hyman immediately rushed down the tunnel with a significant amount of blood pouring from his face.
Although, a broken nose isn't exactly an ideal situation for a hockey player, the situation could have been far more devastating.
The veteran Oilers forward missed practice yesterday, and many fans were convinced he'd be unavailable for tonight's game.
Now that the starting lineups have been announced, the Oilers Ace will be re-joining his team for tonight's showdown against the B's.
Hyman breaks down the situation leading up to the broken nose
He's now been cleared to continue playing with the hilarious looking bubble helmet, and at practice today, he broke down the scary situation leading up to his injury.
»I've broke my nose a bunch of times. This one was a little worse process You shove gauze up there, the hardest part is you can't breathe dealt with that, got it fixed up the next day, missed practice, but feeling good.»
- Zach Hyman
According to Liam McCormick of Oilers Daily, Hyman's face is so clearly swollen, he's got two black eyes, and his nose is covered in a bandage. He's definitely looked better, but he'll still be able to bring his best work ethic.
The Oilers forward seemed to be in light spirits talking about his injury, even saying that re-setting the bone sounded like popping a bag of chips.

The only thing I have to say about Zach Hyman's recount is...YUCK!
While Hyman no stranger to a broken nose, this one has by far been the most painful of them all.
Regardless, Oilers fans are happy to see he's on the mend and playing tonight.
