Early in the 1st frame, Connor McDavid took advantage of a turnover at the blue line, maneuvered the puck around the Finnish defenders and ripped it off the post and in to kick off the scoring in the 1st period
This goal by Connor McDavid marked the second straight game the Oilers captain opened up the scoring.
McDavid added his second point of the afternoon on Point's first of the tournament and now has four in the tournament to lead Canada.
Following last game's loss to Team USA, Connor McDavid admitted Team Canada's journey was far from over and delivered a clear message coming into today's matinee.
"Really high [quality], obviously," McDavid said of Saturday's contest. "As I said the other night, there's a lot of great players out there. It was fast again, tight-checking, competitive, emotional - it had everything that you would want in a hockey game I thought.
"It sucks that it didn't go our way, but this thing's far from over."
Currently up 4-0 nothing in the middle frame, Connor McDavid will look to add an extra insurance goal as they aim to close out Team Finland.
